Methods and approaches in gender planning and budgeting    
Gender in sustainability management    
Global innovations – local solutions towards sustainable livelihoods for women fishers; including promotion of entrepreneurship and business skills of women fishers in small scale fish value chains    
Any other themes (to be announced; we also welcome studies on the role of men in helping achieve gender equality in fisheries and aquaculture)    


 Special Workshop on GAF 101 : Mainstreaming Gender into Aquaculture & Fisheries Education
  • Engendering fisheries research and extension work
  • Engendering the aquaculture and fisheries curricula in institutions of higher learning
  • Monitoring and evaluation of development programs and projects in aquaculture and fisheries
  • Quantitative analysis and modeling on the valuation of women’s work in aquaculture and fisheries systems
Special Panel by ICSF: The International Guidelines on Securing Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries [SSF Guidelines]

  • Introduction to the main framework of the Guidelines
